What is the Gator100?
The Gator100 honors the 100 fastest-growing, Gator-owned or Gator-led businesses in the world. The Gator100 serves not only as a setting where UF's elite entrepreneurs can gather and share their talents and wisdom, but as an inspiration to fellow Gators to be a part of this exclusive group.

What does it mean to be Gator-owned or led?
For the period of January 1, 2016 – October 15, 2019, the company must have been owned OR led by a Gator or group of Gators, meeting one or more of the following:
» Gator founded and founder still involved at senior level if not President or CEO.
» Gator-owned means 50% or more owned by a Gator or group of Gators.
Gator-led means a Gator as CEO, President, Managing Partner or Chairman.
My company was acquired by or merged with another entity. Do I still qualify for the Gator100?
Applicants who have had a change in their company’s legal operations (e.g. acquisition and/or merger) and are combining the results of related companies MUST provide verifiable financial data and a reconciliation summary as part of the application process.
How do I apply for the Gator100?
You must first complete the online application and then submit the required financial information to our independent accounting partner, Ernst & Young (EY). Please note, your application is NOT complete until you have submitted your financial information.
What is the Gator100 application timeline?
Applications are open July 5 - October 15, 2019. All financial information must be received by Ernst & Young (EY), our accounting partner, no later than 11:59 pm (EST) on October 15, 2019

What financial information is required for the application?
Accepted financial information includes ONE of the following:
(1) Audited or reviewed financial statements by an external CPA firm (i.e. auditors signed opinion letter) for the years 2018, 2017 and 2016, or your most recently completed three fiscal years.
(2) The business' signed U.S. Income Tax Return for the years 2018, 2017 and 2016, or your most recently completed three fiscal years (forms accepted: 1120, 1120S, 1065, Schedule C).
How can I be assured of confidentiality?
All financial information will be submitted to and maintained by our independent accounting partner, Ernst & Young (EY). These documents will not be shared with the University of Florida or its personnel. As such, no parties will enter into a non-disclosure agreement.
How can I verify my application was received?
- Applicants will receive a confirmation screen upon submitting their application. They should print and/or save this confirmation screen for their records as they will not receive an auto-generated confirmation email. Any questions regarding application status may be directed to UF at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I verify my financial information was received?
- Applicants will receive ONE auto-generated confirmation email from EY upon submission of their financial information. No further follow up is required on part of the applicant. An EY representative will reach out if there are questions with your financial documents.

When will I be notified if I did or did not make the 2020 Gator100?
Companies who make the Gator100 list are notified in December and invited to the on-campus celebration in February.

The Gator100 will be announced at the Gator100 Awards Dinner on Friday, February 28, 2020.

The full list will be released at the Gator100 Awards Dinner on Friday, February 28, 2020.
